HOW TO ORDER


please read, especially if you are new to GO!! if you're having trouble with anything, reach out and we'll be happy to answer any questions you might have~

01 ✦ place your order via the gomdrop link.
it is highly recommended to sign up with an account to keep track of your orders!
02 ✦ pay the item cost (IN AUD!!!!) and make sure to include a transaction description in the required format.
the payment process is detailed below! if you're still confused, please reach out and i'll be happy to answer all of your questions! please remember that all figures quoted, unless stated otherwise, are in AUD.
03 ✦ after receiving your payment confirmation email, check my social media and your emails periodically for updates.
shipment updates will be emailed to you directly via gomdrop. updates such as payment receipts and arrival photos will be posted on twitter and instagram under the hashtags #kakaproofs and #kakahaul respectively! you can also join the discord server as a more convenient place to receive updates or refer to the masterlist here.
04 ✦ wait patiently for the order to be shipped to me in australia.
we are not the group order for you if you want your items quick; orders tend to be onhand within 6-9 months after the ordering period. do not order with us if you cannot wait!
05 ✦ receive your INTL shipping invoice (EMS) and pay it accordingly.
invoice will be sent via email through gomdrop. please ensure to pay the invoice in full within the deadline specified to avoid late fees or order forfeiture.
06 ✦ contact shipping admins to arrange delivery of your items from me to you and pay the domestic shipping fee (DOMS).
once items are onhand, it is not typically shipped out immediately, as we assume you are ordering again in the future and would like to combine orders to save on shipping. once you have confirmed you want your items shipped out, shipping admins will pack and weigh your parcel and email you your shipping quote.
07 ✦ pay DOMS and receive your tracking number.
once your order is packed, you will be given your shipping quote that covers the cost of any shipping materials used and the shipping cost itself. please pay this total within the specified deadline! a shipping label will not be printed until DOMS and any outstanding charges are fully settled.
08 ✦ [IMPORTANT!] film an unboxing video upon arrival of your merch.
some items may arrive damaged or missing from the manufacturer, and sellers do not always offer after-sales services if there is no unboxing video. if you are unable to film this, we cannot guarantee that a refund or a replacement can be pursued.
09 ✦ [OPTIONAL] post a haul photo!
i would love to see your hauls and rest easy knowing that your merch arrived to you safely, so please let me know when you receive your delivery! it would also make me super happy if you could tag me in your social media posts or post it under the hashtag #kakareviews on twitter and instagram!

how to pay

all payments are done in multiple instalments, which would (with slight variations) typically look like this:
.     first payment: item cost + remote shipping
.     ems: intl shipping + proxy fees
.     doms: domestic shipping (me to you) + packing fees

01. GENERAL RULES
✦  all figures quoted by us are in AUD. do not send us USD, please! we do not offer change.
✦  all invoices, payment confirmations, etc. will be issued via email. please ensure that your provided email address is active and accessible!
✦  it is your responsibility to notify us when your contact/address details change.
✦  we have the right to refuse or restrict services to you, and we are not obligated to give you a reason. this includes but is not limited to:
.     ⟡  limiting your access to our discord server
.     ⟡  blocking you on our social media accounts
.     ⟡  blacklisting you from our group order
.     ⟡  denying your participation in certain group orders, but allowing you to participate in others.
✦  no scalping or buying to resell for profit. we don't actively moderate what you do with your merch once you have purchased it. however, if we catch you profiting from the work we do for free (this includes hosting for-profit GOs), we may no longer provide services to you.


02. AGE RESTRICTIONS
✦  all buyers must be 16 years or older to join any group orders. this is non-negotiable.
✦  all minors are assumed to have permission from their parent or legal guardian to purchase. requests for order cancellations/refunds lodged by the minor's legal guardian due to irresponsible spending will be denied, and the buyer will be blacklisted.
✦  minors are not permitted to purchase bl/r18 merch. merch/group orders that minors aren't permitted to purchase will be denoted with a 🔞. violation of this rule will result in the minor and any complicit parties (proxy buyers and/or any person who were aware of the act but didn't report it to me) will be permanently blacklisted.


03. DISCLAIMERS/LIABILITY
✦  we do not directly purchase items for many group orders hosted. we use various forwarding warehouses, proxies and other personal contacts to obtain the merch. if you're not comfortable with the idea of multiple people handling your items, do not participate in our group orders.
✦  you participate in group orders at your own risk. admins do their due diligence to ensure the proxies used are reliable, and that goods are safely packed and kept. however, circumstances may arise that cannot be reasonably foreseen or controlled.
✦  group orders are forwarding services/middlemen between you and the seller, not retailers. if there are any issues with your items, such as defects, missing orders, etc. and the seller does not give a refund/replacement, we can't give it to you either.
✦  don't participate in our group orders if you want your items quickly. we often use forwarding addresses to combine orders for more economical shipping, and we use cheaper shipping lines that are often slower. this may mean it will take 6-9 months at miminum for the order to be onhand.


04. PAYMENTS & FEES
✦  all payments are split into instalments. the typical breakdown (with slight variations) would look something like:

✦  we accept the following payment methods:
.     - bank transfer (wise/local)

we do not accept any other payment methods. please have a proxy send money on your behalf if you're unable to make payments using these methods!
✦  pay on time to avoid order cancellations or late fees. the standard deadlines of each payment instalment are as follows:
.     first payment: 3 days after order submission or the GO end date, whichever comes first.
.     ems: specified in payment request email (3-4 days from email being sent)
.     doms: 3x24 hours of email being sent
✦  late payments will incur a charge of $1.50/day. if 14 days have elapsed and no payment has been made, your order/package will be forfeited, and no refund will be given.
✦  holds, payment extensions, etc. are not offered. if finances are so tight that you require a payment extension for leisure goods, you are not in a position to be purchasing merch. please be a responsible buyer!


05. REFUNDS & ORDER CANCELLATIONS
✦  order cancellations are not accepted once first payment is made. if you have changed your mind about the merch, please find a buyer on your own time and do a slot transfer.
✦  refunds are either given in the form of credits for you to apply as a discount to your next payment, or returned directly to you. if you would like to choose the latter for your refund, please send your payment details so that money may be returned to you.
✦  unless the refund is offered as a compensation from our own error, all transfer fees and currency conversion rate differences will have to be covered by you.

WAREHOUSING/SHIPPING POLICY

06. WAREHOUSING/ORDER CONSOLIDATION
✦  once an item/group order is onhand, if you have any other pending orders with us, it will not be shipped out immediately. we will assume you would like to combine your other orders.
✦  please notify shipping handlers at any time before the completion date when you would like to ship out your items. your merch will be packed, weighed out and your shipping invoice given. the group order's shipping assistants can be emailed at [email protected]
✦  all onhand group orders are given a storage deadline. this is the latest our shipping admins are able to keep any merch from that GO for free.
✦  any orders kept past the storage deadline will incur a daily fee. the storage fee is $2/day, for a maximum of 30 days. after 30 days have elapsed, your overdue orders will be packed and DOMS + storage fees will be invoiced to you accordingly.


07. PACKING/SHIPPING/PICKUP
✦  ensure that your shipping details are correct. while our shipping handlers will ensure to double check that the address you have given is valid, we may not be familiar with your suburb/assigned postcode or (if you're ordering from overseas) your country.
✦  all shipments are subject to additional packing fees. the minimum is $0.80 for letter mail and $2.50 for parcels, however, the amount may change depending on how much packing materials are needed for your parcel.
✦  we reuse packing materials. in the interest of minimizing wastage and reducing packing fees charged to you, packaging such as boxes (ie., cut into backing boards) and bubble wrap will be reused and repurposed when available. if you prefer brand-new, clean and aesthetic packaging, we are not the group order for you.
✦  please bring your own bags for pickups. they will not typically be provided, so please ensure to bring your own bag or trolley when picking up your goods.
✦  ems, dom & any other outstanding charges must be completed in full before the item(s) itself can be shipped out to you. no payment = no delivery.
✦  allow up to 2 weeks of shipment requests being lodged for us to pack and ship out your items. in addition, please note that parcels are only able to be picked up by couriers, or dropped off at the post office during weekdays at working hours. we are working individuals, so we may not be able to ship out your items immediately. your patience and understanding is very much appreciated!
✦  by default, all deliveries will be tracked standard delivery, with the full value of the items declared. please notify us if you would like express, courier, untracked, or would like for us to declare the item value differently BEFORE we start packing.
✦  the group order does not take responsibility for losses, damage or delays of goods in transit. the parcel is no longer under our control once it's been given to auspost. however, we can help you apply for compensation and insurance if the item becomes lost or damaged if applicable.


08. LATE FEES & ITEM FORFEITURE
✦  no refunds will be given for forfeited orders or packages.
✦  items will be forfeited if any of the following apply, especially if no prior approval had been given:
.     ⟡  defaulting on ems/dom/etc. payments
.     ⟡  overdue fees for storage and EMS have reached the maximum
.     ⟡  any circumstance not listed here where you cannot be contacted and all reasonable attempts to do so have been made.
✦  forfeited orders/packages are considered ours for us to do as we please. your item may be resold (to recoup any lost funds), discarded or given away at our discretion.
✦  understand that once items have been forfeited, it may not be possible for you to retrieve the goods. it may have already been resold, discarded, or claimed by another person.

Q: how much is it to ship my order from you to me?
A: you can refer to auspost's shipping calculator which can be found here! use 3000 as the australian postcode. when estimating shipping costs, please remember to account for the weight of the shipping box and any packing materials used.
Q: do you ship internationally?
A: yes! auspost is our chosen shipping carrier. please check the shipping cost to your country by visiting the link above.
Q: i'm from overseas, can you ship my orders directly to me?
A: for logistics reasons, we can only do this for IOs, on a case-by-case basis. please let me know and we can discuss!
Q: how is ems split?
A: generally, costs are split according to how it is originally billed by the seller. if the shipping costs is billed at a flat rate, everyone will be charged an equal shipping fee. if the shipping cost is billed by weight/bulk, the costs will be split between everyone accordingly. the weight-based distribution may be split based on estimates, using similarly-sized items we have onhand adjusting accordingly if we know there will be extra packaging to consider. in most cases, to-the-gram accuracy and splitting will not be possible. please understand that it is not feasible for us to cover the shipping fee out of pocket and sometimes be out of values up to $500+ for months, please undertand!
Q: how much is the intl shipping charge (from seller/warehouse to you) for my order?
A: we cannot give exact values until the warehouse has packed the order and given me a shipping quote, but shipping fee estimates (based on past invoices) are as follows:

A: we use superbuy for our cn proxy, and dejapan as a jp proxy! all other proxies are arrangements with friends and other personal contacts. they may not be able to handle your orders unless it's through the group.
Q: can i arrange a pickup instead of having my merch shipped to me?
A: if you reside in inner melbourne and if the shipping admins' schedules allow for it, yes it's possible! please note that YOU MUST bring your own bag/trolley for pickups, and if the shipping admin decides that it may be too inconvenient for them to carry the merch with them, it may not be possible. thank you for understanding!!
Q: do you have any plans to start pickup services in other cities aside from melbourne?
A: as much as we would like to, it requires additional logistics, planning and delegating that we feel is a lot more effort than it is worth. you're most welcome to organize your own groups to save on doms, however as these groups will not be officially endorsed by us, we won't be responsible for any issues outside of packing, shipping and invoicing the orders to the group manager 🙇

✦  FCFS claims only. no bidding, priority claims, etc.
✦  specify what set # you want your claim to be in. if you do not specify, i will sort you myself.
✦  split will only pass when a certain amount of slots are filled. please check the post for specific number of claims.
✦  i do not cover the cost of any unclaimed items. the cost of any unclaimed items will be divided between everyone participating in that split, and the recipient(s) of the unclaimed items will be chosen at random.
✦  all previous splits need to pass before a new set can be opened.
✦  "can i get ivan and/or till when you open the next box--" no. it's difficult to keep track of such reservations and it's also not fair on other people TT. please understand!
✦  a separate gomdrop form will be provided when claims are finalized. please wait patiently for this!
